Sales Specialist (Audio Visual/Digital Signage)

We are looking for a Sales Specialist to support our Computer Products Division.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Outbound calling with a focus on working leads and prospects provided by sponsoring vendors
  • Engage with customers proactively and reactively on  outbound calls and email as needed
  • Manage lead development, follow-up and closure; Provide support necessary to develop leads and follow them to closure
  • Meet sales, breadth and SLA goals
  • Day-to-day be the primary point of contact for Pro-AV and DS solution specific questions focusing on participating vendors: suggesting SKUs, compatibility, technical questions; Remain customer-facing and sales rep-facing
  • Interface with participating Pro-AV and DS solution vendors with joint goal of driving visual solution sales including displays, Large format displays and digital signage,  software, mounts, a/v products, switches, cables etc.
  • Create and drive Pro-AV/DS growth strategies
  • Be digitally certified and maintain certification(s)
  • Design Pro-AV/ DS solutions and quote as needed; work with D&H’s DS technical specialists
  • Build a solid understanding of vendor programs, product offerings and key competitive products
  • Follow up on bid opportunities presented and track in CRM accordingly
  • Create ROI reporting for vendors to include activities, quotes and opportunities
  • Engage with reps proactively and reactively on email as needed and continue to grow mindshare on the sales floor
  • Work with Pro-AV/DS Marketing team on display solution messaging
  • Data mining to determine and find appropriate targets for display solutions
  • Develop and maintain specialized knowledge on display solutions and digital signage
  • Create and launch reseller and rep promotions geared to increase sales and broaden display reseller base
  • Attend technology shows as directed or needed
  • Engage with key customers using conference calls, seminars as needed or requested
  • Alert Buying Department to stock shortages when they are noticed to avoid potential outages
  • Attend trainings pertinent to position
  • Answer phone and respond to all customer requests
  • Develop professional presentation skills for sales rep and customer trainings
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with Pro-AV/DS solution vendor account managers/reps
  • Project a professional company image through phone and email interaction
  • Must be able to adhere to company established attendance policy
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and ethics

 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Computer literate with the ability to learn. Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs required.
  • Requires professional verbal and written communication skills
  • 1+ years sales/business and /or call center experience
