We are looking for a Device Sales Specialist to support our Computer Products Division.


Job Responsibilities

  • Accountable for growth, market share, revenue, breadth, margin and awareness of Microsoft’s (MSFT) product/services/solutions in the K12 Education Vertical (Windows education devices, Office365, Microsoft Intune Device Management).
  • Own Microsoft education value proposition, resources, and talking points to share with D&H Sales, OEMs, Partners and Resellers and how to leverage Microsoft partnership to grow and strengthen education business and capitalize on the K12 digital revolution opportunity.
  • Responsible for continuous collation and updates of top Microsoft Education resources, talking points, and content for Microsoft Education Partner readiness and awareness of Microsoft's creative and robust learning solutions to position partner offerings that enable digital transformation in schools.
  • Engage both inside and outside sales reps to grow sales and educate them on the Microsoft Education Products and Services for complete K12 Education solutions
  • Provide front line pre-sales support regarding the assessment, selection, configuration, and deployment of Windows Devices and Microsoft Solutions in the K12 Education vertical.
  • Manage and maintain the proper standards of reporting (including deadlines) to ensure maximum incentive payout.
  • Coordinate field engagement and resources from Microsoft, Intel, and MNA to increase revenue and market share of Microsoft Solutions in the K12 Education vertical.
  • Develop and support channel partner training, sales activities, trade shows and events; Meet contact requirements and VAR engagement
  • Responsible for landing Microsoft program and incentives (marketing program development, enablement, implementation and education)
  • Leverage existing sales motions to increase K12 Education vertical sales of Microsoft Education Products and Services through tactical efforts including but not limited to data mining prospecting accounts, targeted call campaigns, and/or bundled sales efforts
  • Increase evaluation of Windows Devices and Compete wins (prioritizing Apple and Chromebook) in the assigned regions and segments.
  • Lead and improve D&H’s ability to track and manage reporting requirements of Microsoft of key device manufactures
  • Help create and maintain reports for D&H on these accounts and contacts and sales as needed/required
  • Attend Vendor trainings along with additional online focus trainings and take other online courses as needed/required
  • Maintain 50% customer facing outbound calls to current and new customers

Job Requirements

  • Computer literate with the ability to learn. Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs required.
  • Sales and Marketing background
  • Requires professional verbal and written communication skills
  • 1 to 3 years office experience
  • 3 years of channel sales experience preferred
  • Previous Inside Sales Rep experience
  • PC manufacture experience/knowledge desired
