Marketing Insights/Analytics Specialist to join our team:

Responsibilities:

  • Support in-depth analysis and reporting on metrics relevant to marketing and sales strategies
  • Design new and maintain existing marketing performance reports and dashboards
  • Aggregate and mine data to identify business trends and marketing shifts
  • Work closely with creative, marketing, sales to provide comprehensive insights to help improve marketing products and business performance
  • Create presentations that present insights found in the data in an easy to understand format telling the story that encompasses statistics, graphs, and other tools as needed.
  • Regularly prepare and export required reports in advance of relevant management meetings
  • Conduct ad-hoc investigations as required
  • Perform analyses related to customer behavior; explain trends in data using tools provided by D&H and third party providers, and build/maintain daily and weekly marketing dashboards to facilitate constant measurement and understanding of key business and marketing metrics
  • Collaborate with Creative teams to help inform decisions and priorities with insights uncovered by data analysis
  • Perform ongoing monitoring, reporting, and post-campaign analysis and use that analysis to form recommendations for new campaigns and strategies and effectively communicate findings across the organization
  • Serve as an internal consultant for the marketing team for all things data and analytics
  • Gather data from disparate sources and contracts, agency partners, and other sources to analyze the strategic plan versus the business outcome to provide insights into optimization of marketing investment by channel and clients and market maximizing the ROI.
  • Perform in depth marketing funnel analysis to identify opportunities to optimize campaign performance driving growth in lead conversion and ultimately profitability.
  • Monitor/track competitive and market trends, report findings/conclusions, make recommendations when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide strategic input and interpretation of the marketing results.
  • Work closely with BI, Operations and IT to implement change and/or updates to systems and reporting software/programs.
  • Support the Marketing team on a wide range of analytics, reporting and ad hoc projects.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree Data Analytics, Marketing, Business, or similar
  • 2+ years’ analytics experience in a marketing environment for multiple marketing channels and platforms, specifically for digital products, web analytics
  • Experience with report development and automation of updates
  • Data extraction and manipulation skills
  • Data visualization and storytelling
  • Analyze large data sets and effectively communicate findings
  • Experience presenting results in a graph/chart that is clear and concise
  • Expert in BI tools, analytics software platform, visualization tools, in addition to advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to identify and report KPI metrics related to lead/client growth and revenue generation alongside the actionable insight
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, synthesize and disseminate large amounts of information
  • Applied knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large data sets
  • Strong attention to detail ensuring all department reports reconcile
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with quickly changing priorities
  • Ability to successfully work in a team environment
  • Must be able to independently evaluate situations, exercise judgment and independently make/offer a decision/solution
  • Works well under pressure and is flexible
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully and can present to non-technical managers
  • Exhibits a high level of responsibility regarding information and issues that require confidentiality at all times
  • Strong business judgment and intellectual inquisitiveness

  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects with varying levels of complexity and communicate status reports, problems, and potential solutions to management and other company employees
