Marketing Data Analyst to join our team:

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing ROI analysis to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of different marketing campaigns
  • Analyzing the effect of different channels on each other and developing innovative strategies for improvement and growth
  • Defining and implementing measurement strategies that align with client marketing and business objectives
  • Producing meaningful marketing KPI dashboards and delivering monthly
  • Developing custom marketing dashboard concepts for client reporting via Excel or other formats
  • Cross-channel performance reports with actionable insight
  • The role will also involve conducting conversion optimization consultancies, with the aim of improving efficiency in clients’ marketing strategies and increasing ROI
  • Application of analytics and industry knowledge in generating business reporting on strategy performance and campaign
  • Understanding of important drivers, and the discovering of new opportunities to propel further growth
  • Identifying client objectives and advising on suitable measurement strategies
  • Benchmarking performance across all channels and advising on KPIs
  • Using methodical performance analysis to influence/support campaign strategies
  • Reporting on key metrics, analyzing and interpreting trends and providing actionable insights based on available analytics data
  • Analyzing online user behavior, conversion data and customer journeys
  • Performing ad-hoc analytics and conversion optimization consultancies for clients and influencing conversion optimization strategies with solid analytical data
  • Delivering regular reporting and analysis documentation to clients and presenting findings or results in person or via conference calls
  • Representing in client meetings and pitch presentations
  • Assisting in educating clients on the benefits of various marketing and the importance of measurement & performance optimization
  • Spotting potential to implement innovative new methodologies and improve analytical procedure
  • Using available data sources to deep dive and troubleshoot campaign (and overall) performance issues and propose methodical optimization tests, both on-site and campaign based
  • Experience in working within a marketing/business intelligence environment
  • High level of experience working with analytical software and platforms
  • High level of experience in data analysis techniques and advanced Excel
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for producing client reports and presentations
  • Experience in identifying and validating strategic and tactical marketing objectives
  • The successful candidate will not necessarily come from a pure web analytics background but an excellent, in-depth level of knowledge in digital marketing, along with experience in strategic and analytical management of digital campaigns is essential
  • Studies website behavior patterns using site metric tools to analyze and optimize business results and user experience
  • Collaborates with other groups including vendor management, sales and marketing to deliver consistent measurement, analysis, and insights.
  • Develop custom reports by vendor, activity category reviewing trends in the business to tie back to how marketing revenue is tracking and to help management identify opportunities to capture or adjust initiatives related to driving marketing revenue.
  • Work on special projects as needed 

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Skills needed:

  • Bachelors Degree or Minimum of 2 years experience with an Associate Degree Marketing, Web Design, Economics or other Quantitative field
  • Proficient in Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint
  • Requires proficiency in web analytics applications, strong database skills and technical
  • Strong knowledge of web analytics and social media platforms
  • Strong knowledge of business intelligence platforms
  • Ability to analyze web and app performance, site behaviors, usability and effectiveness of functionality
  • Translate business insight gained through the use of web analytics platforms into actionable marketing strategy
  • Experience utilizing Cognos and Microsoft Dynamics a plus
