We are looking for a TSM Server Administrator to support our IT Department.

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform strategic analysis and design of TSM infrastructure and make recommendations on improvements and/or new system required to meet business needs.
  • Manage the backup and restoration of systems using TSM.
  • Disaster Recovery (DR) preparation and testing.
    • Manage replication between TSM servers.
  • System Administration of Windows operating system, Linux operating systems, IBM Storage, IBM LTO Libraries.
  • Diagnose TSM platform issues (server and client side) and provide Support in complex, business critical environment including physical and virtual infrastructure.
  • Create and update documentation including daily backup reports as well as monthly/yearly performance and capacity reporting.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Experience with administration and maintenance of Microsoft Windows Server version 2003, 2008, 2012, and 2016.
  • Experience must include Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory administration.
  • Familiarity with virtualization products such as VMware.
  • Experience with the administration and maintenance of Redhat Linux and Centos Linux.
  • BS in related field is desired, however not required.
  • 5-9 years of prior experience as a TSM Administrator.
