Job Description

D&H Distributing, established in 1918, is a leading distributor of computer, electronics, housewares, home entertainment and sporting goods products to businesses in the U.S. and Canada.  D&H is an EMPLOYEE OWNED Company with an exciting opportunity to join our Sales  Support Team. Our ideal candidate has 1-3 years of sales  or telephone sales experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task.

 SUMMARY

 Work closely with retail sales team and customer contacts to coordinate all facets of the complex business.  Basic responsibilities include (but not limited to): processing orders, return authorizations,  rebate reporting, inventory confirmations.  Works along with the sales teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, goal achievement and long-term business goals in line with D&H’s vision and values.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Answer emails with regards to PO confirmations, inventory availability and other customer requests.
  • Provide customers with product and service information.
  • Project a professional company image through phone interaction.
  • Process sample orders in computer system.
  • Adhere to all company policies procedures and ethics including company attendance policy.
  • Work coherently and in the support of the Sales team  
  • Interact with vendors as well as co-owners in other departments.
  • Supply sales reporting weekly to team and vendors
  • Closely monitor bundles created specifically for each account and communicate with DC’s when additional inventory is needed
  • Work closely with buying office to ensure continuous supply is coming in
  • Manage Rebate accrual tracker & bundle management
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  •  Basic knowledge of computer hardware.
  • 1 to 3 years of sales or phone sales experience.
  • CCA and intranet knowledge
  • Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use PC, phone, calculator, fax, printer, copier.
