We are looking for a License Desk Specialist to support our Sales Department.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Grow current software and licensing customer base by working with D&H sales reps and the vendor.
  • Place orders with vendor.
  • Responsible for all aspects of software growth including renewals, vendor SPA’s, Open Licensing, Cloud, and customer/vendor satisfaction.
  • Replying to License desk emails.
  • Develop and remain knowledgeable on core product groups (Cloud, Productivity, Server, Security, Back up) and be able to demo and present value prop on each.
  • Establish strong relationship with vendor and the sales teams.
  • Target decreasing customers and increase Software sales.
  • Build an understanding of Vendor programs, product offerings and key competitive products.
  • Attend specific trainings with D&H and vendor personnel and online, as needed or required.
  • At times, answer phone and respond to customer and vendor requests as a secondary function.
  • Identify market and product gaps and communicate findings to D&H and vendor management.
  • Manage vendor catalog for product additions, deletions and price changes.
  • Place vendor purchase orders, return requests and rebates.
  • Manage vendor confirmations, forward to sales rep/customer as needed.
  • Project a professional company image through phone and email interaction.
  • Must be able to adhere to company established attendance policy.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and ethics.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or College education preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years office experience.
  • Computer literate with the ability to learn.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs required.
  • Requires professional verbal and written communication skills.
